Trayls ("we", "our", "us") operates the Trayls mobile application and the website trayls.dk. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

- Account Information: When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address (if you choose to share it).
- Location Data: With your permission, we access your location to show nearby spots, provide walking navigation, and track trail progress. Location is only used while you actively use the app.
- Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage data (spots viewed, trails completed, categories browsed) to improve the app experience.
- Saved Content: Spots you save, trails you create, and profile information you provide are stored to personalize your experience.
How We Use Your Information

- To show you relevant nearby restaurants, cafés, and bars
- To enable GPS-powered trail navigation
- To save your preferences and favorites

Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted in EU/Frankfurt). We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
Third-Party Services
- Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In: For authentication only
- Google Maps / Google Places: For directions and place information
- Supabase: For secure data storage (EU region)
- Vercel Analytics / Google Analytics: For anonymous website usage statistics
Location Data
We request location permission to provide core app features (nearby spots, trail navigation). You can revoke location access at any time in your iPhone Settings. The app works with limited functionality without location access.
Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as you have an active account. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
Children's Privacy
Trayls is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Rights
Under GDPR (as we operate in the EU), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
